WISDOM IN THE HEBREW MONTHS VOLUME 2

This book is unique and its author is a marvel. Classic works of Jewish thought teach that each of the twelve lunar months corresponds to one of the twelve tribes that each had its own role in Creation, had its own constellation and had a specific activity and Hebrew letter associated with it. What do the months and these components have in common and, how do they relate to our lives and mission? One mystery after another - and nowhere are they explained in English. Until now. The Wisdom in the Hebrew Months Volume 2 opens the door to a new dimension of understanding. Drawing upon the full breadth of Talmudic, Midrashic, and Rabbinic literature, it sheds new light on the months of the year, the tribes of Israel, the ways that Hashem relates to His people, and how each month has its own messaqge to us. It is stunningly original and profound. It is engrossing, interesting, stimulating, and provocative. The previous volume of The Wisdom in the Hebrew Months began the process of illuminating the mysteries of the months. This volume explores new areas of the subject with new perspectives and the same brilliance. Zvi Ryzman of Los Angeles is a phenomenon. He is the embodiment of the Rabbinic teaching that one should combine Torah with commerce - yet give priority to the beis midrash over the office. He is a noted Torah scholar, teacher, lecturer, author, and philanthropist, and the winner of the Jerusalem Prize for his many Hebrew volumes of Ratz K'zvi. His shiurim in Israel and America are attended and acclaimed by renowned rabbinic leaders. He has a fertile mind and a passion to share his brilliance with others, through the written and spoken word. In this book he explains how the Hebrew months are filled with fascination and meaning. The reader will marvel at the wisdom in the yearly cycle - and never look at a calendar the same way.
