The Master of Mercy... and Me

Once, forgiveness came through the holy service of the Beis HaMikdash. Today, we have tefillah, prayer, in place of the offerings. And at its heart lies the most powerful key of all: the Thirteen Middos of Hashem — the words that open the Gates of Rachamim, of Hashem’s Mercy. In this beautifully written, accessible, and deeply meaningful sefer, master teacher and gifted storyteller Rabbi Yechiel Spero brings these Middos to life with profound insights, moving true stories, and practical guidance. The young man came back home — because his mother left the door open every night for ten years, never giving up hope... The young man survived the October 7th massacre and eventually landed in a religious neighborhood — where Hashem sent him a sign... The Torah teacher in Ukraine, despite cruel punishment, chose to remain in control – and succeeded! In story after story, we learn about teshuvah, about Hashem’s love for us and our love for Him, and about the greatness each one of us can access from within. Included is a special story section on emulating Hashem’s Middos. A beautiful addition to a beautiful book. This year, let the Thirteen Middos strengthen your connection to Hashem. Say them with understanding. Recite them with feeling...and learn from them, as well!
