Abled Tales

Abled Tales is a book that tells stories of people who are resilient and determined, from the eye of a facilitator. These are ordinary people who learnt to believe in themselves through inclusive support. In this book, the author shares her insights and learnings from three decades of practice across all age groups. She writes to spread awareness about mental wellbeing and diminish stigma by sharing the impact of support and resilience in creating an inclusive environment. The chapters in this book reflect not only the various challenges individual, familial, institutional, societal and systemic; but also, the multifaceted role of mental health professionals in bridging the gap. This book is for all. It would be a good read for educators, parents, grandparents and therapists.
