Tanna Devei Eliyahu - Seder Eliyahu Rabbah Volume 1 (Perakim 1-16) - Haas Family Edition

Among the treasured Midrashim transmitted to us by our Sages, Tanna DeVei Eliyahu [“The Teaching of the Academy of Eliyahu”] occupies a unique place. This work is a compilation of the teachings of Eliyahu HaNavi that he personally conveyed to the Amora Rav Anan. Throughout the generations, great Torah leaders have drawn from its wisdom, and to this day, many continue the custom of studying it each Motza’ei Shabbos. Tanna DeVei Eliyahu explores countless themes, including Torah study, repentance, suffering, spiritual growth, the final redemption, and the World to Come. Its passages are cited by a wide range of authorities for both halachic purposes and for its wealth of mussar. It also contains many stirring prayers by Eliyahu HaNavi, as he praises Hashem and intercedes on behalf of his people. For centuries, Tanna DeVei Eliyahu has often been a challenging Midrash to study, due to its obscure language and lack of comprehensive commentaries. We are proud to present the first volume of Eliyahu Rabbah, clearly translated and elucidated with fascinating additional Insights. Study this Midrash and be uplifted by the actual teachings of Eliyahu HaNavi—teachings that continue to resonate, inspire, and illuminate the Jewish people.
