Holiday Tales for the Soul Volume 2

Yair Weinstock's best-selling Tales for the Soul series has won the interest and admiration of many thousands of readers around the globe. His first book of holiday stories had readers clamoring for more. Few things enliven a holiday table or a long afternoon more than a good story that enhances the beauty and inspiration of the day. In this new book, we visit the Jewish holidays through more stories, classic and new. These "tales for the soul" are sure to delight Weinstock's veteran as well as new readers. The author combines the narrative skill of the novelist with the soaring vision of a Talmud scholar who has absorbed the heart and soul of Jewish tradition from his great teachers and spiritual leaders - and he masterfully conveys those feelings through the written word. Weinstock combines many attributes. He has good taste. He has an ear for language and an instinct for message. He knows what touches the soul and, most important, what can inspire the reader to seek spiritual elevation. These are stories with messages, stories that reach for higher realms and take the reader with them. The author comes from a Chassidic background and he is a student of Brisk - a combination that provides a unique blend of passion and incisiveness that makes reading this book an even more enriching experience. This is a book that captures the wealth of our heritage. It is an enchanting read - not only on holidays but all year round!
