Behind the Scenes

Rabbi Yitzchak Benroubi’s “Behind the Scenes” presents a remarkable journey where Torah wisdom meets the creative world of cinema. Inspired by the Chafetz Chaim’s “Shem Olam,” this book explores the universe as a metaphor, akin to a film production. The book draws parallels between various elements of filmmaking — script, special effects, actors, editing, and soundtrack — and aspects of our physical world. It portrays our world as a complex virtual reality, spanning six thousand years. “Behind the Scenes” guides readers through the Divine plan of Creation, highlighting each person’s unique role within it, viewed through the teachings of Chazal. This exploration allows readers to see beyond our world’s facade and perceive the perfection of the Director – the Almighty. The book is an enlightening journey, providing insights into life and one’s connection to the Divine.
