Open Your Eyes

Based on Chovos Halevavos Shaar HaBechinah and the teachings of Rabbi Avigdor Miller Open your eyes to Hashem’s goodness and presence in your life! Look. Watch. Think. Reflect. Consider. Praise. Thank. OPEN YOUR EYES. To Hashem's magnificent world. To your blessed, blessed world. And prepare to reap the unimaginable benefits of living with bechinah. For decades, Rabbi Dov Keilson, mashgiach ruchani of Yeshiva Darchei Torah, has studied the concept of bechinah. Bechinah means examining the world with open eyes, observing all that Hashem has made for us. As we see His wisdom and design, we strengthen our faith, and ultimately reach a level where we truly know -- not just believe, but know -- that He exists, that He cares, and that His kindness and compassion is with us every moment of our lives. Open Your Eyes is based on the Shaar HaBechinah of the classic Sefer Chovos HaLevavos and on the teachings of Rabbi Avigdor Miller , who credited Shaar HaBechinah as one of the underpinnings of his own life. Rabbi Keilson shows us how living with bechinah leads to awe and love of Hashem, authentic gratitude, deep emunah, and the incomparable happiness of living with His Presence in our lives on a day-to-day -- no, on a minute-to-minute -- basis. Open Your Eyes shows us the vast importance of bechinah, and then takes us on a personal tour of Hashem's world, showing us how to appreciate every amazing aspect of creation -- and its Creator. From the human brain to the food chain to the cosmos, everywhere we see Hashem's power, and His compassion. Open this fascinating sefer -- and Open Your Eyes to a whole new way of living.
