The Shabbat Flood: A Texas-Sized Tall Tale
On a rainy Friday, Bubbe tells her grandkids about the time her Texas town flooded right before Shabbat. From their family’s bakery, young Bubbe and her papa bravely set off in a barrel, rowing through flooded streets to deliver challah to neighbors, patch leaks with dough, and save 126 cats—at least, that’s the way Bubbe tells it! Based on a true story—really! eBooks/audio eBooks available for Amazon Kindle as well as most other e-readers.
