The Rav Nebenzahl Haggadah

Rav Avigdor Nebenzahl is the world-renowned rav of Jerusalem's Old City, whose lectures and many books on Jewish thought are admired by the broad spectrum of Jewry. In this stimulating new work on the Haggadah, he shares insights from a remarkable range of classic and contemporary commentators, including his revered rebbe, Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. The explanations are concise and perfect for sharing with Seder participants - and yet, at the same time, profound enough to spark thought and discussion even among the most learned. In addition to the classic Haggadah commentary, The Rav Nebenzahl Haggadah includes a wide-ranging collection of essays that take the Exodus as their starting point and discuss topics such as the final Redemption, the Jews' love for Hashem, and the trait of hakaras hatov, gratitude. The Rav Nebenzahl Haggadah also features a practical, useful guide to the laws of Passover, including the laws of kashering the kitchen for Passover, selling and buying chametz products, and laws and customs of erev Pesach.
